Mayor, Suddenlink Officials Attend
CONROE, Texas (Oct. 10, 2011) – Suddenlink hosted an open house at its newly renovated retail store at 903-K W. Loop 336 in Conroe last week. The celebration featured refreshments, prizes and a live KVST-FM (K-STAR) remote.
Mayor Webb Melder made a visit, along with the City of Conroe’s Director of Finance and Administration Steve Williams and Information Technology Supervisor Pam Cobb. Also in attendance were Suddenlink Senior Vice President of Operations Todd Cruthird, Vice President of Government Relations Skip Ogle, Vice President of Marketing Mark Edwards, along with regional, district and local managers.
Suddenlink’s new retail store opening is the latest in a series of new service announcements by the company in the Conroe area. In late 2009, Suddenlink announced a nationwide capital investment program, calling for approximately $350 million over three years, above and beyond Suddenlink’s traditional capital spending levels. Since it began, that program has brought expanded phone service, faster Internet speeds, Video on Demand service, an all-digital TV lineup, and more high-definition (HD) TV channels to Conroe and Lake Conroe customers.
Suddenlink’s new retail store is open 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturdays. More information about Suddenlink services is available online at suddenlink.com.
