Service Will Be the Fastest Available in the Community
ATHENS, Texas (July 16, 2013) – Suddenlink today announced it has begun offering its new High-Speed Internet 50.0 service in Athens, featuring a download speed up to 50 Megabits per second (Mbps), the fastest residential Internet service in the community.
High-Speed Internet 50.0 is enabled by Suddenlink’s deployment of industry leading technology called DOCSIS 3.0. Suddenlink believes it is the only Internet service provider using this technology in its local service area. The new Internet service will add another choice to Suddenlink’s three existing services – Suddenlink High-Speed Internet 3.0, 15.0 and 30.0.
All Suddenlink High-Speed Internet services include up to 10 e-mail addresses, access to e-mail via WebMail, personal WebSpace and Spam Blocker. All Internet customers receive ESPN3 at no extra charge. Suddenlink also offers wireless home networking, called [email protected], with enough power to connect all customer devices to Suddenlink High-Speed Internet. Technical support is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
