Local Veterans Will Be Honored Friday
Command Chief Master Sergeant Thomas F. Good of the 17th Training Wing at GAFB and San Angelo Mayor Dwain Morrison will join students and faculty members in honoring hometown heroes at a Take a Veteran to School Day program at San Angelo’s Bobcat Stadium, Friday, Nov. 7. The Take a Veteran to School Day project is part of a national initiative by the History Channel and Suddenlink, which provides cable services in San Angelo. A formal program will be presented at an assembly in the stadium, followed by lunch at Glenn Middle School with students and veterans.
