When massive rains and record flooding hit the Houston area recently, Comcast stepped in to help local victims get back on their feet and get back in touch.
First, Comcast opened its XFINITY Wi-Fi hotspots throughout the Greater Houston area to anyone who needs them – including non-Comcast customers – to help residents and emergency personnel during the Houston flood recovery. A map of XFINITY Wi-Fi hotspots, which are located both indoors and outdoors can be found at www.xfinity.com/wifi, or individuals can download the XFINITY Wi-Fi app.
Second, Comcast donated $100,000 to the Greater Houston Storm Relief Fund in support of those impacted by the devastation. More.
