San Angelo Gets More HD TV Channels

Suddenlink Completes Move to All-Digital TV Lineup

SAN ANGELO, Texas (April 5, 2016) – Suddenlink announced today it has completed an upgrade to an all-digital TV lineup and added more channels in San Angelo. Digital TV offers superior picture and sound quality.

The conversion process began earlier this year.  Customers were notified directly as changes took place. In the process, Suddenlink added a host of new high-definition (HD) channels to its lineup.

New HD channels include: Angelo State HD, Local Government HD, English Premier League Extra Time HD, C-SPAN HD, QVC HD, Home Shopping Network HD, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries HD, WEtv HD, Great American Country HD, Discovery Family Channel HD, Destination America HD, The Science Channel HD, Smithsonian Channel HD, TV One HD, BYUtv HD, Fuse HD, Pac-12 Network HD, IFC HD, Sundance TV HD, HBO Signature HD, Cinemax HD, Showtime 2 HD, Showtime Showcase HD, Starz Kids & Family HD and Starz Cinema  HD.

Depending on the type of service a customer was receiving from Suddenlink, customers needed to install HD digital adapters – also known as HD DigitaLinks – which enabled them to receive the all-digital channel lineup. Customers with TV sets that had Suddenlink HD DVRs, HD Digital receivers, TiVo HD DVRs or Suddenlink Cable Cards did not need HD DigitaLinks.

For customers who still need to pick up a digital adapter, they will be available at the following times and locations: April 5 and 6, 8 a.m.-7 p.m., at the Suddenlink Retail Center, 4272 W. Houston Harte Expressway, and at the Farmers Market Pavilion, 609 S. Oakes St.

More information about the new channel lineup is available by visiting www.suddenlink.com/san-angelo; by visiting Suddenlink’s local customer care office at 4272 W. Houston Harte Expressway; or by calling 325-655-8911.
