Sponsored by the Association of Cable Communicators (ACC), the national Beacon Awards competition recognizes excellence in communications and public affairs throughout the cable industry.</p><p>The Amarillo program was named the nation’s top program in the Events and Observances competition for cable systems its size.  Winners of 2013 Beacon Awards were announced during a Beacon Awards dinner and ceremony May 9 at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill as part of ACC&#8217;s annual conference.</p><p>The Amarillo Family YMCA-Suddenlink Corporate Cup raises awareness and funds for the local YMCA, as well as promotes physical fitness. Local businesses participate in a four-week corporate fitness challenge that culminates in a day-long competition.  The three-year-old event is now the Amarillo YMCA’s core fundraiser. style="text-align: left;" align="center">San Antonio, Texas, May 3, 2013 – Time Warner Cable today announced it will carry Spanish-language telecasts of the 2013 Texas Rangers games across its Texas footprint on Canal de Tejas. Canal de Tejas is available to Time Warner Cable Digital Basic customers throughout Texas on channel 889 except for Dallas where it can be found on channel 194.  Canal de Tejas in El Paso can be found on channel 889.</p><p>Leading coverage for the Rangers will be play-by-play announcer Victor Villalba. Villalba is in his third season and is also known for being the play-by-play voice of the Dallas Cowboys Spanish-language broadcasts. He will be joined by Jose Guzman who returns for his third season providing analysis and color commentary for all Rangers home telecasts.  Guzman, a former major league pitcher, worked with Eleno Ornelas on the club&#8217;s Spanish-language radio broadcasts from 2004-09.  The duo will be joined by Jerry Romo on select games.  Romo is in his third season as a broadcaster for Rangers Spanish-language radio games and has also done play-by-play for a select number of past Rangers Spanish-language telecasts.</p><p><span

align="center"><b><i>Suddenlink Completes Move to All-Digital TV Lineup</i></b></p><p><b>PARIS, Texas (April 30, 2013)</b> – Suddenlink announced today it has completed an upgrade to an all-digital TV lineup and added more channels in Paris and Clarksville. Digital TV offers superior picture and sound quality.</p><p>The project began in mid-March and was completed neighborhood by neighborhood.  Customers were notified directly as changes took place. In the process, Suddenlink added a host of new high-definition (HD) channels to its lineup. Customers received new TV lineup cards by mail.</p><p>New HD channels include: broadcast stations KDAF HD (CW), KPXD HD (ION), KXTX HD (Telemundo), KUNV HD (Univision), KFWD HD (Mundo Fox), KSTR HD (UniMAS) and KTXD-HD (IND), as well as TV Land HD, C-SPAN HD, Disney XD HD, The Hub HD, OWN HD, BBC America HD, H2 HD, Biography Channel HD, WE tv HD, MTV2 HD, Fuse HD, GOL TV HD and Independent Film Channel HD.<b></b></p><p>Earlier, Suddenlink increased the download speeds of its high-speed Internet services in Paris and Clarksville, introduced other HD TV programming and began offering Video on Demand (VOD) service.</p><p>More information about local Suddenlink services is available by going to the company’s website (<a
