<p><strong>WASHINGTON (February 7, 2012)</strong> –Mount Pleasant residents will join the thousands who have toured the C-SPAN Campaign 2012 Bus when it stops in Mount Pleasant on Saturday, February 11<sup>th</sup> on its “Road to the White House” tour, named after C-SPAN’s signature political program.</p>
<p>The Campaign 2012 Bus travels the country to promote and enhance C-SPAN’s extensive resources and political coverage by stopping at major political events such as candidate debates and speeches in early primary states and meeting with voters on the campaign trail.  Additionally, the Bus will tour state capitals, visit community events, and host students and teachers around the nation, giving them an inside look at C-SPAN’s comprehensive educational and political resources.</p>
<p>“With the presidential campaign heating up, this is a great time for C-SPAN to hit the road with the Campaign 2012 Bus,” said Jenny Marland.  “C-SPAN offers a variety of public affairs programming and resources for educators, students, first-time voters, and the general public.  We hope they come on board and check out our interactive, Campaign 2012 Bus.”</p>

<p>HOUSTON (January 31, 2012) – Comcast today announced the grand opening of its new XFINITY™ Store in Houston.  The 3,200 square foot center is designed entirely around the needs of customers and provides Comcast customers with an opportunity to explore, learn about and interact directly with the latest XFINITY products and services.</p>
<p>The new XFINITY Store in Katy at 517 South Mason Rd is conveniently located and features 55” flat screen TVs and a comfortable seating area.  Customers also can try out some of Comcast’s converged services and popular apps on iPad’s, like the XFINITY TV app.  Kiosks around the store also provide customers with the opportunity to experience XFINITY TV, test drive XFINITY Internet’s speeds, connect with XFINITY Voice service, and try out next generation XFINITY Home Security.</p>
<p>In addition, customers receive personalized service from trained and knowledgeable Comcast Service Consultants and more time-saving offerings, including a self-service kiosk for quick bill pay and a queue system that allows customers to explore and be entertained instead of waiting in line for service.</p>
<p>“We’re proud to provide our customers with a place where they can experience our XFINITY products and services firsthand and check out the latest technology in an interactive environment,” said Doug Guthrie, senior vice president of Comcast’s Houston Region.  “This new model has a more welcoming design, and most important a new attitude as we apply the same mindset of innovation, speed and utility that our customers love about our products to our customer service.”</p>
<p>The XFINITY Store is open Monday through Friday from 9 am &#8211; 6 pm and Saturday from 8 am – 5 pm and located at 517 South Mason Rd in Katy.  This store replaces the former Comcast Service Center located at 595 South Mason Rd.</p>
<p>The new store in Katy is the first of four new XFINITY Stores planned for 2012.  Comcast currently has 13 service centers located throughout the Greater Houston area.</p>

This February also marks the second anniversary of the launch of <em>Black Cinema</em> on Xfinity On Demand, a year-round offering that features themed movie collections that highlight African-American films, filmmakers and actors.</p>
