Latina Girls Conference (Austin)
Bringing mentors and young Latinas together, Time Warner Cable is partnering with the organization Latinitas to host Austin’s first Latina Girls Conference, TECHchica, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 6 at Austin Community College’s Eastview campus. Attendees will be given the opportunity to create original content to implement a social media campaign on a topic of their choosing. A lunch time panel will feature professional women in various tech industries. The event is open to all Latina girls between the ages of 9 and 18. Hispanic, Engineering, Science & Technology Week (Edinburg)
Time Warner Cable is sponsoring the Hispanic, Engineering, Science & Technology (HESTEC) Week on Sept. 24- 29 at the University of Texas Pan American, in Edinburg. Mi Cultura Facebook page
Time Warner’s Spanish-language Facebook page (www.facebook.com/micultura) has grown approximately 400 percent, to more than 200,000 over the past year. The Mi Cultura Facebook page helps Time Warner Cable’s Hispanic customers to connect more deeply with their passions and the content that they enjoy.
Time Warner On Demand
Digital TV customers can access a collection of acclaimed films celebrating Hispanic culture On Demand through the end of September. These movies are available in SD and HD. Customers can watch them by tuning to the Movies On Demand channel, clicking on “Enjoy Better” and choosing “Hispanic Heritage.” The Hispanic Heritage collection includes the following films:

Xfinity On Demand
Comcast has teamed up with Music Choice, the multi-platform video and music network, to bring Xfinity TV MultiLatino customers access to the most extensive collection of Hispanic music videos and original artist content ever On Demand. The collection, available immediately on Xfinity On Demand, with select videos also available on Xfinity.com/LatinoTV, will soon include a total of 500 music videos and feature a wide variety of Spanish music genres and artists, including pop and rock Latino, romance, tropical, regional Mexican and a children’s category.
Also, starting Sept. 15, Xfinity TV customers will have access to special programming On Demand at Top Picks>Hispanic Heritage. The Hispanic Heritage Month collection includes a wide variety of films from Cine Latino, Universal, Lionsgate, WB and IFC; as well as TV Specials and Series, Music and Children’s Programming.
Triple Play Package
