Texas Cable Industry Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month
September 15 – October 15, 2012
During Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept. 15-Oct. 15) Texas cable providers and programmers are paying tribute to the generations of Hispanic Americans who have positively influenced and enriched our nation, our state and our society. The month starts on Sept. 15 because it is the anniversary of independence of five Latin American countries. In addition, Mexico and Chile celebrate their independence days on Sept. 16 and Sept. 18, respectively.
