JEFF BURDETT NAMED DIRECTOR OF GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS FOR TCTA

 

AUSTIN – Jeff Burdett has joined the Texas Cable & Telecommunications Association as director of government affairs. 

Burdett brings nine years of legislative experience from Texas House and Senate offices.  He most recently served as legislative director for State Senator Mike Jackson and prior to that was legislative director for State Representative Peggy Hamric.  He began his public service career in 1997 as a committee clerk for the Committee of Ways and Means when Speaker Tom Craddick was the chairman. 

“We are pleased to have Jeff on board to help us steer our legislative program.  I know that his experience will be valuable to the Association,” said Todd Baxter, vice president of government affairs and general counsel of TCTA.

Burdett is a graduate of Southwest Texas State University and is married to Sarah Burdett.
