Suddenlink announced today that it is upgrading technology in Mineral Wells as part of a larger, three-year, companywide program that calls for approximately $350 million of capital investments above and beyond traditional capital spending levels.

Suddenlink is now offering HBO’s new authenticated online video destinations, HBO GO® and MAX GO®. Customers who subscribe to HBO and/or Cinemax have free, unlimited access to the corresponding online services at any time, on any computer in the U.S. with a high-speed Internet connection.

Suddenlink Communications will be providing state of the art video and high-speed Internet access services to 25Twenty, a new luxury student living community near Texas Tech University in Lubbock. Time Warner Cable digital customers in Texas will have the opportunity to view the best of the UIL girls state basketball tournament games from the Frank Erwin Center in Austin March 3-5.

Suddenlink Business Services and US Cable today announced completion of a new fiber-optic route in West Texas that provides 2.5 Gigabits of capacity to help US Cable serve its residential and commercial Internet customers. This project is the largest-capacity installation to date by Suddenlink for a commercial client.

More than $10,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded at the Suddenlink Tony Gibson Memorial Fishing Tournament set for March 5 at the Concho Pavilion on Lake O.H. Ivie, 24282 County Road 4763, in Millersview. Proceeds from the event will aid Hospice of San Angelo’s mission to serve area families coping with terminal illness.
