Suddenlink announced today that it has completed work on a major investment program in Huntsville that has resulted in more high-definition (HD) TV channels and an all-digital TV lineup.

Crime Stoppers, Comcast, and the Harris County Sherriff’s Department are seeking information leading to the identification of multiple suspects involved in thefts of Comcast equipment. Specifically, Comcast “power supply” equipment has been stolen on multiple occasions from multiple locations. Power supply equipment is installed in neighborhoods across the greater Houston area, and transmits power to supporting equipment in thousands of households in our community.

Suddenlink has doubled the capacity of its video on demand (VOD) service from 10,000 to 20,000 hours in most areas where VOD is available. We now offer more than 8,000 VOD titles, and we’re working to expand the library substantially by the end of the year. The upgrade in former NPG communities will be completed by year’s end.

Suddenlink announced today that it has begun offering its new High Speed Internet MAX 50.0 service in Sulphur Springs. The new service is the fastest residential high speed Internet service in the community. MAX 50.0 features a download speed of up to 50 Megabits per second (Mbps).

Charter and NFL Network today announced that they have reached a new, long-term agreement for carriage of NFL Network. Charter, among the largest cable and Internet service providers in the country, will also offer the innovative NFL RedZone channel to its customers.
