After a three-month project, Suddenlink completed the transition to an all-digital TV lineup in Nacogdoches, Texas. All-digital TV provides superior picture and sound quality. Suddenlink today announced it has launched its new High Speed Internet 20.0 service in Huntsville. High Speed Internet 20.0 features a download speed of up to 20 Megabits per second (Mbps), which is believed to be the fastest residential Internet service in the area. The 20 Mbps service is enabled by Suddenlink’s deployment of industry leading technology called DOCSIS 3.0. Suddenlink believes it is the only Internet service provider using this technology in its local service area.

Every year an estimated 800,000 children are reported as missing in the United States. In recognition of National Missing Children’s Day on May 25, Time Warner Cable is announcing today the launch of a new Missing Children On Demand category available via their Local On Demand channels, making information about missing children available to millions of Time Warner Cable digital video customers across the state of Texas. The new initiative is in partnership with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and will enable Time Warner Cable digital video customers in Texas to support efforts by law enforcement to help bring missing children home.

Time Warner Cable was named the official telecommunications provider for the HP Byron Nelson Championship (HPBNC) by tournament organizers, Salesmanship Club Charitable Golf of Dallas the company announced today. Time Warner Cable’s commercial services division, Time Warner Cable Business Class (TWCBC) is building a network at the site of the annual golf tournament to power video screens on the course, in corporate hospitality villas and to deliver phone and data service to locations where PGA TOUR officials, Salesmanship Club members, spectators, media and vendors are located.
