Suddenlink Launches High Speed Internet 20.0

HUNTSVILLE, Texas (May 25, 2011) – Suddenlink today announced it has launched its new High Speed Internet 20.0 service in Huntsville. High Speed Internet 20.0 features a download speed of up to 20 Megabits per second (Mbps), which is believed to be the fastest residential Internet service in the area.

The 20 Mbps service is enabled by Suddenlink’s deployment of industry leading technology called DOCSIS 3.0.  Suddenlink believes it is the only Internet service provider using this technology in its local service area.

Suddenlink also offers Internet services with speeds of up to 1.5, 10 and 15 Mbps.

The High Speed Internet 20.0 launch is the latest result of the company’s nationwide capital investment program, calling for approximately $350 million over three years, above and beyond Suddenlink’s traditional capital spending levels.  Along with faster Internet speeds, that program also has delivered new HD channels to Huntsville customers.

More information about local Suddenlink services is available by visiting the company’s website (suddenlink.com) and entering an address and zip code, or by visiting the Suddenlink store at 1620 Normal Park in Huntsville.
