Suddenlink Launches Faster Internet Service in Snyder, Sweetwater

Posted on: 11-28-2012 Posted in: Press Releases - Members

ABILENE, Texas (Nov. 28, 2012) – Suddenlink today announced it has begun offering its new High-Speed Internet 30.0 service in Snyder and Sweetwater, featuring a download speed up to 30 Megabits per second (Mbps), the fastest residential service in the area.

High-Speed Internet 30.0 is enabled by Suddenlink’s deployment of cutting-edge industry technology called DOCSIS 3.0.  Suddenlink believes it is the only Internet service provider using this technology in its local service area. The company will continue to offer its 3 and 15 Mbps services in Snyder and Sweetwater.

All Suddenlink High-Speed Internet services include up to 10 e-mail addresses, access to e-mail via WebMail, personal WebSpace and Spam Blocker.  All Internet customers receive ESPN3 at no extra charge.  Suddenlink also offers wireless home networking, called WiFi@Home, with enough power to connect all customer devices to Suddenlink High-Speed Internet.  Technical support is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

More information about local Suddenlink services is available by visiting the company’s website (suddenlink.com) and entering an address and zip code, or by visiting Suddenlink’s local customer care offices at 2211 Avenue R in Snyder and 1118 E. Broadway in Sweetwater.
