Victoria Gets More HD TV Channels

Latest Part of Suddenlink’s 3-Year Investment Program

VICTORIA, Texas (Nov. 29, 2011) – Suddenlink announced today it has launched more high-definition (HD) TV channels in Victoria.

The new HD channels include: The Weather Channel HD, HSN HD, WE tv HD, Oxygen HD, Disney XD HD, The Hub HD, Planet Green HD, OWN HD, Investigation Discovery HD, BBC America HD, H2 HD, Biography Channel HD, GSN HD, Fuse HD, Fuel TV HD, Fox Soccer Channel HD, Independent Film Channel HD, HBO2 HD, HBO Comedy HD, HBO Latino HD, The Movie Channel HD and Starz Comedy HD.

HDTV offers a widescreen format, similar to a movie theater, with distinctly sharper images and better sound quality than standard TV.

Introducing more new HD channels is the latest step in the company’s nationwide capital investment program, calling for approximately $350 million over three years, above and beyond Suddenlink’s traditional capital spending levels. That program already has brought the benefits of all-digital picture and sound quality to Victoria, as well faster Internet speeds, Video on Demand service and other HD channels.

More information about local Suddenlink services is available in one of several ways: by going to suddenlink.com and entering an address and zip code; by visiting the company’s Victoria store at 105 Industrial Drive; or by calling toll-free 1-888-822-5151.
