GENA KELLER NAMED DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS FOR TCTA

AUSTIN – Gena Nivens Keller has joined the Texas Cable & Telecommunications Association as director of communications.
Keller brings more than 12 years of corporate experience in public affairs, marketing and community relations, having worked for several Fortune 500 companies, including Paragon Cable in San Antonio, a predecessor to Time Warner Cable. She began her career at The Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce in military and government relations. Most recently, through her consulting business, Keller and Company, she has helped several small businesses and non-profit organizations with public relations and fundraising strategies.
“We are thrilled to have Gena on our team to lead our communications plan and focus on our industry goals as we prepare for the upcoming legislative session,” said Dale Laine, president of TCTA.
Kirsten Voinis will continue to work with TCTA as a communications consultant.
Keller is a graduate of Texas A&M University and is active in several community organizations, including the Texas Lyceum Association, where she served on the Executive Committee as vice president of public relations for three years. She is married to Harrison Keller and they have one son.
