TCA ELECTS EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBERS,
BOARD OFFICERS
AUSTIN – Members of the Texas Cable Association (TCA) have elected the 2009-2010 Executive Committee and Board of Directors for one-year terms starting July 1.
Serving as chairman will be Ray Purser, vice president of government and public relations for Comcast Houston. John Owen, president, commercial services for Time Warner Cable, Texas Region, will serve as vice chairman.
“I’m honored to be able to represent the Texas Cable Association and Comcast in this capacity,” Purser said. “I look forward to working closely with TCA member companies to showcase all that the cable industry has to offer Texas consumers. From giving consumers a wide array of choices in video, broadband and voice, to offering the latest cutting edge technology, the Texas cable industry is in the forefront of technological innovation.”
Purser has served as TCA’s vice chairman since 2008.
“I look forward to representing the cable industry in Texas,” Owen said. “The work of the Texas Cable Association is vitally important to our industry and to our customers. Texas cable operators continue to invest in the communities we serve, whether we’re deploying more advanced services or participating in civic and charitable events.”

Directors for TCA are: Todd Cruthird (Suddenlink); Gordon Harp (Time Warner Cable); Jon Gary Herrera (Time Warner Cable); Clem Maddox (Time Warner Cable); Chris McDonald (Comcast); Ron McMillan (Time Warner Cable); Susan Patten (Time Warner Cable); and Barry Rosenblum (Time Warner Cable).
