Comcast Opens Xfinity Wifi Hotspots to Aid Residents and Emergency Personnel during Houston Flood Recovery
More than 24,000 XFINITY WiFi Hotspots available throughout the Greater Houston area
HOUSTON, TX – April 19, 2016 – Comcast today announced that it will open up its XFINITY WiFi hotspots throughout the Greater Houston area to anyone who needs them – including non-Comcast customers – to help residents and emergency personnel during the Houston flood recovery.
Non-XFINITY Internet customers should search for the “xfinitywifi” network name in the list of available networks and follow the on-screen prompts.
Comcast has opened its WiFi hotspots and users will be able to renew their complimentary sessions every two hours.
